DoLaMi Privacy Policy

DoLaMi is a vocal practice app provided by an individual developer, Xu Xiaorong. This Privacy Policy explains what information DoLaMi collects, how it is used, and how you can contact us.

Information We Collect
Account information
You may use DoLaMi anonymously or sign in with Apple or Google. When you sign in, we may receive account information from the sign-in provider, such as a provider user identifier and, if available, your name or email address. We use this information to create or link your DoLaMi account and keep your practice progress associated with your account.
You may also choose to set a nickname in DoLaMi.
Practice and app usage data
DoLaMi stores practice-related data needed to provide the app experience, such as your selected voice profile, vocal range settings, daily practice progress, challenge progress, streaks, scores, and related practice records.
Microphone and voice data
DoLaMi requests microphone access so it can detect pitch during vocal practice. Audio from the microphone is processed on your device for real-time pitch detection.
DoLaMi does not upload, store, or share your raw microphone audio or voice recordings.
Device and subscription data
DoLaMi may store a device identifier, such as an iOS vendor identifier, to support anonymous use, trial eligibility, and account recovery behavior.
If you subscribe, subscription status and entitlement information may be processed through Apple and RevenueCat. DoLaMi uses this information to unlock paid features and maintain your subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide vocal practice, pitch feedback, scores, streaks, and progress tracking.
- Sync your account, practice progress, trial status, and subscription access.
- Restore purchases and manage paid access.
- Improve reliability, diagnose issues, and maintain the app.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
Third-Party Services
DoLaMi currently uses the following third-party services:
- Apple Sign In and Apple in-app purchase services.
- Google Sign-In.
- RevenueCat for subscription status and entitlement management.
DoLaMi does not currently use Firebase, Sentry, Crashlytics, Umeng, third-party advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when necessary to operate the app, such as with service providers that support authentication, subscription management, app hosting, or infrastructure.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the app, or others.
Data Retention
We keep account, practice, and subscription-related data for as long as needed to provide DoLaMi, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may contact us to request deletion of your account or associated data.
Your Choices
You can:
- Use the app without signing in, where supported.
- Sign in with Apple or Google to sync progress.
- Change your nickname in the app.
- Disable microphone access in iOS Settings, though pitch detection and practice scoring may not work without microphone access.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
Children
DoLaMi is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International Data Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries or regions other than where you live. We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
